Sakai aids sexual violence prevention

The University of Dayton is using its Sakai LMS (named Isidore) to help promote its Green Dot program, which aims to reduce sexual violence by creating awareness and providing training to students, faculty, and staff. The campus uses the imagery of a Green Dot to represent actions that reduce the likelihood of sexual violence.

After logging into Sakai users immediately see the Green Dot message, which responds with animation when clicked on. Over 1,000 people have seen this message because of how prominently it’s been featured in Sakai.

To read more about the University’s Green Dot program and their successful use of Sakai to promote the program, see https://www.udayton.edu/blogsv/ltc/19-06-28-isidores-green-dot.php.
